AI 2021 PHX Contest Results


During Airliners International we hold several contests. The winners in each of the categories are announced at the Saturday evening banquet, where we also hold our always-popular Trivia and Name the Plane contests.

Entries in the Postcards, Photography, and Model-Building contests are accepted until Saturday morning.

POSTCARD CONTEST

This year we had a tie for First Place between Rick Neyland and Lindsey Moore. Rick was awarded first for “best following the contest rules” and Lindsey was awarded first for being “most creative.”

MODEL CONTEST

This year seven modelers entered 21 models. 

Andrew Stiffler entered the most models with eight entries, including six as part of his Alaska Golden Nugget collection for a total of 13 models.

Dave Kessler was the last to enter registering on Friday night which was better than a typical last-minute Saturday morning registration.
